About Our School
St. Patrick’s Catholic School is located in the Southwest section of the city of Woodstock with 425 students in Grades JK to Grade 8. The majority of students are Canadian-born with English as their first language. In 2025, St. Patrick's Catholic School will celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Facilities
In the spring of 2007 construction began for a new addition, which included 9 classrooms, a library resource center, a staff room and mechanical room. In the spring of 2008, a major renovation project began on the old part of the building to provide for a new kindergarten area, new offices and a beautiful foyer. Construction was completed by August 2008. A new, accessible playground was installed in October, 2011.
Since then, we have built an outdoor learning area, GaGa Ball pit and outdoor Kindergarten experiential learning area in 2021. We have also added new portables to accommodate our growing school population in 2019, 2020 and 2023.

Transportation Information
40% of the students walk or are picked-up by parents and 60% take the bus. Six buses, operated by Langs, Elgie and Voyageur Bus Lines, service the school. The school has a Safe Arrivals and Departures protocol in place. Parents can find out if their children are eligible to take the bus by contacting http://www.mybigyellowbus.ca/.
Kiss and Ride
Staring October 2022, St. Patrick's no longer has a dedicated Kiss and Ride program. Parents are asked to drop their children off at the gate beside the gym between 8:10am and 8:25am. For pick up, parents can meet their children at the front door at 3:00pm.
As always, students are encouraged to travel to and from school on the school bus if they qualify.
